Nas tells us why his 1994 classic “Illmatic” is nine tracks of “hip hop excellence” and what is the difference between “Illmatic” and “Life Is Good”.

First-week projections for Nas‘ tenth studio album, Life Is Good, which was released on Tuesday (July 17) are predicting sales of over 115,000 units according to AHH.

Athough concrete numbers for Life Is Good will not be coming in until next Wednesday (July 25), it is expected that Nas, who has released eight platinum albums consecutively, will secure his sixth #1 album on the Billboard 200, alongside previous releases like It Was Written, The Firm, I Am, Hip-Hop Is Dead and Untitled.
