It could be considered the best of times and the worst of times for Beanie Sigel. The Philadelphia mic legend is recording some of his best music in years – if his latest single, “The Reunion” with his State Property cronies is any indication.
But, Beanie Sigel is also set to surrender on September 12 to serve two years in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax fraud. That he is working on getting his business and personal life in line right now is no wonder.
Still, we were surprised to see Beanie team up for a sit-down with longtime activist, Dr. Ben Chavis, for the first in a series of interviews called “Man-to-Man”. It’s another side of Beanie that many haven’t seen before, and the conversation is definitely worth the watching.
